Important to Know

HRC is not selling solar subscriptions or enrolling residents in a community solar program. This project is focused on community education, public engagement, online workshops, clean-energy awareness, and project updates. By attending an event or joining our email list, you can learn more about community solar and stay informed as opportunities develop in Pennsylvania.

About the Philadelphia Community Solar Power Project

The Philadelphia Community Solar Power Project is HRC’s community education campaign focused on solar energy, environmental justice, energy affordability, and clean-energy opportunities in West Philadelphia.

Through this project, HRC is hosting community town halls, online workshops, educational videos, and outreach activities between April and October to help residents understand community solar and stay connected to future updates.

The project is especially focused on reaching low-income residents, renters, justice-impacted families, churches, neighborhood organizations, and community members who are often left out of clean energy conversations.
